Job summary

Cadence Education in Washington state is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant who loves working with young children and has childcare, daycare, or early childhood education experience. You will support classroom activities and help implement Cadence Education programs.

You’ll foster a safe, nurturing learning environment, follow IEPs and behavioral plans when needed, and collaborate with Lead Teacher and School Director. Enjoy a supportive team, growth opportunities, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for a Teacher Assistant.
• Experience with early childhood education, childcare, or daycare preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, respectful classroom environment for every child.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Follow IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed to meet individual needs.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Document and report accidents and incidents per policy in the Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Help manage and report escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and participate in required trainings.
