Children’s Lighthouse of Mt. Juliet in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Two-year-old Lead Teacher to join our brand-new Early Learning School. You will build a cohesive teaching team, coordinate curriculum, and manage daily classroom operations for infants and toddlers.

Ideal candidates have a passion for early childhood development, strong communication skills, and the energy to foster a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children can grow and thrive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree or certificate in an early education related field is recommended but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; basic computer skills.
• High energy and ability to work well with staff, children, and parents; team environment.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must pass background check and health screening.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active play.

Responsibilities

• Implement the school's age-appropriate activities and curriculum that promote developmental milestones.
• Lead by example; coach and support teaching team to achieve success.
• Communicate effectively with parents about daily routines, progress, and other information.
• Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and development.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a healthy, organized classroom environment with hygiene and safety in mind.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment that meets the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.

As a Lead 2'sTeacher, you will be responsible for building a cohesive teaching team, coordinating curriculum implementation, and managing the daily operations of the classroom. Teachers must have a strong understanding of children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to grow and succeed.

Duties
