Job summary

Primrose School of South Lebanon is seeking passionate, dependable educators to join our team and help young children build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. You will create a nurturing classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore.

As a Teacher, you will implement Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, collaborate with families, and participate in ongoing professional development to grow professionally and advance within a caring, collaborative

Qualifications

• Must meet all Ohio child care licensing requirements.
• Previous experience in a licensed child care center, preschool, or early childhood program preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed for child supervision and safety.
• Infant and Toddler Teachers must be able to safely lift infants into and out of cribs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Implement daily lesson plans and classroom activities using the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Create and maintain an organized, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
• Encourage positive behavior through consistent expectations and nurturing guidance.
• Observe and document children's growth and development.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, health, and safety requirements.
• Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, and general school responsibilities.
