We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with preschool-aged children. This job requires fostering social-emotional growth, and supporting early literacy and numeracy skills. The teacher will play a vital role in promoting childhood development through classroom management and individualized attention to each child's needs.

Hours: M‑Th 8:30‑12:30 or T/Th 8:30‑12:30

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging lessons that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all students.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate student progress and address individual needs.
• Incorporate classroom management strategies that foster independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
• Support child welfare by ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times within the classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; classroom experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• CPR and First Aid Certified.
• High School Diploma required.
