Job summary

Celebree School in Montgomeryville seeks a proactive Preschool Teacher to create nurturing, engaging learning experiences for young children. You will deliver developmentally appropriate activities and support a positive classroom culture.

You will collaborate with families and assist classroom aides on their growth journey, promoting early literacy, language skills, and social development in a safe, joyful setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children; childcare licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
• Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help preschoolers develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas.
• Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development.
