Job summary

Celebree School of Elkridge is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, stimulating learning environment for young children and to reflect Celebree's mission, vision, and values in daily activities. You will support classroom Aides in their growth toward becoming Celebree Teachers.

You will develop creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans, foster a welcoming classroom, integrate early literacy, ensure safety and cleanliness, and communicate with parents about each child's

Qualifications

• Must meet lead teacher requirements as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; patient and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Integrate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy into routines.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom and materials.
• Establish open communication with parents and share progress.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
