Job summary

Primrose School of Symmes is hiring for a Preschool classroom with children aged 3-4 years. The school offers a private learning environment and a curriculum developed by early childhood experts.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 1-2 years of child care experience, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and health-related insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency, including passing a background check.
• Must hold a high school diploma at minimum, Child Development Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• 1-2 years experience working with children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children aged 3 to 4 years.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
• Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
• Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions & assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

Education
