Job summary

Real Life Christian Church in Mount Dora, FL seeks caring individuals for part-time preschool support. You will nurture children across social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth, maintain health and safety, and build respectful relationships with families and staff.

You will implement age-appropriate lessons under the Lead Teacher’s guidance and follow church policies. Requirements include HS diploma or GED, religious affiliation, and willingness to complete DCF training,

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Interest in further education; CDA, FCCPC or degree in field.
• Have or obtain DCF state mandated training within first 90 days.
• Have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification, Blood-borne Pathogens and Fire Extinguisher training.
• Annual in-service training/CEU’s and training for professional growth.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a teacher assistant or substitute in an early learning environment.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education.
