Job summary

Spring Education Group is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher for Kid’s World. You will provide classroom support when a regularly assigned teacher is absent and work with different age groups to maintain a consistent learning experience.

Our curriculum blends structured learning with play-based exploration to support early literacy and social-emotional development. You will lead activities across stories, art, music, movement, and outdoor play, adapt to various classrooms, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 12+ postsecondary semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college or university.
• Six months of experience in a licensed child care center or comparable program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead developmentally appropriate activities, including stories, art, music, movement, sensory exploration and outdoor play.
• Adapt to different classrooms, age groups, schedules, and instructional needs.
• Maintain classroom routines and help transitions between activities.
• Supervise children during learning activities, meals, rest periods, outdoor play, and transitions.
• Assist with personal care routines such as handwashing, toileting, diapering, and feeding as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to provide a positive experience for students.
• Communicate professionally with families about classroom activities and daily routines.
• Follow school policies and licensing requirements for health, safety, sanitation and supervision.
