Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with 24 ECE/CD units, including core, 6 units in administration, 2 units in adult supervision
• Teaching, Administrative, or Administrative Services Credential with 12 units of Preschool plus 3 units supervised field experience in Preschool settings
• At least two years’ experience working in a Preschool
• Current Infant First Aid and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Lead preschool operations in the absence of the Preschool Director.
• Ensure implementation of the program’s philosophy, policies, and curriculum, maintaining consistency and continuity of instruction and care.
• Supervise and support preschool staff, including teachers and assistants; provide guidance, delegation, and performance feedback as needed.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment in full compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Oversee daily school operations, including staffing, scheduling, student supervision, attendance, and classroom coverage.
