Job summary

CDS York is seeking an Itinerant Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Arundel. The role involves travel across York County, evaluating and treating children aged 3–5, and delivering both in-person and tele-therapy services.

Evidence-based practice and collaboration with the IFSP/IEP team are essential. State licensing and background checks are required, with duties including parent communication and program consultation.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in an appropriate field.
• Maine Speech Therapist license/certification as applicable.
• Background, criminal history, fingerprinting and reference checks are required.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations to deliver services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for children aged 3–5.
• Provide direct services and tele-therapy for eligible children.
• Consult with classroom and program teachers and multidisciplinary team members.
• Collaborate with IFSP/IEP teams to develop goals and objectives.
• Document and bill therapy services in accordance with regulations.
