Servingschools is hiring an itinerant Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist in Lewiston, ME. The SLP will evaluate and treat children ages 3-5, provide direct and tele-therapy, and consult with teachers while traveling between sites.

This calendar year position requires licensure and background checks and offers comprehensive benefits. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to meet IDEA requirements and participate in the IFSP/IEP process, with regular travel throughout

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
• Current State of Maine Speech Therapist License is required.
• Maine DOE Certification 293 (allowable for non-MaineCare billing).
• Successful background check, criminal records and fingerprinting.
• Experience with preschool children and IDEA compliance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services to children ages 3–5, including direct and tele-therapy.
• Evaluates speech and language, and contributes to IFSP/IEP goals.
• Collaborates with CDS case managers and a multidisciplinary team.
• Travels to multiple Lewiston-area sites to deliver services.
• Maintains documentation to meet MaineCare and regulatory requirements.
