AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist to support preschool students in South Holland, IL. The role offers a 32.5-hour work week, current IL SLP licensure, and a school-based setting.

Position details include 31 weeks duration, Monday–Friday schedule, and a start ASAP with end date June 1, 2027. Competitive pay ($58–$70/hr) with benefits through a local contract opportunity via PediaStaff network.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement required.
• Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred.
• Experience in special education or therapeutic school settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
• Support students with speech, language, social communication, and developmental delays.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and special education teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
