Job summary

HeartShare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support preschoolers (ages 3-5) in a play-based therapy setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication delays, collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

The role focuses on IEP-driven goals, AAC integration when needed, and embedding strategies into classroom routines for consistent progress. CFs are welcome, with licensure and CCC-SLP required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification and state licensure required.
• CFY/CF welcome; experience with preschoolers preferred.
• Experience collaborating with teachers and families in IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and communication.
• Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Plan and implement group therapy sessions for shared language goals.
• Incorporate play-based strategies and AAC when appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and families across settings.
• Document progress and prepare reports for IEP reviews.
