Job summary

Bethel School District 403 in NACHES TRAIL ELEM (High-Needs School) seeks a certificated teacher support staff member to provide direct, specially designed instruction to 3–5 year olds with/without special needs. Collaborate with the ECEAP SPED team for inclusive classrooms.

The role requires WA SPED P-3 and ECE endorsements, effective communication with diverse staff, students, and families, and active involvement in MDT/IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Valid WA teaching certificate with Special Education P-3 and ECE endorsements.
• Ability to employ effective teaching methods.
• Ability to communicate with staff, students and parents from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to 3–5 year old students in an inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with the ECEAP Special Education Teaching team.
• Assist with MDT participation and coordination of IEPs.
