Job summary

Bellevue Public Schools is seeking a 7-hour-per-day Preschool Special Education Paraprofessional for Betz Elementary in Bellevue, Nebraska. You will work with students in small groups or individually under the teacher's direction and assist with lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities.

The role requires 48 hours of college credit (6 in Early Childhood Education) with an additional 6 hours in ECE to be completed within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have 48 college credits with 6 in Early Childhood Education.
• Must complete an additional 6 hours in Early Childhood Education within a year of hire.
• Must be capable of lifting and providing physical assistance as needed.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety with or without accommodations.
• Typical duty hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
