Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in instruction and safety of students.
• Document progress and maintain anecdotal records.
• Prepare materials and support activities in foreign languages, arts, crafts, music and similar subjects.
• Escort students to and from buses at arrival and dismissal; supervise building outside the classroom.
• Communicate with parents under the teacher's direction or in teacher's absence.
• Participate in staff development activities and attend team meetings as appropriate.
• Follow policies and procedures of the school.
