Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• Experience and/or eligibility for Michigan School Social Worker approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to preschool students and families through individual, group, and community methods.
• Participate in IEP teams to provide assessments for eligibility decisions.
• Collaborate with preschool staff to support social-emotional development.
• Participate in professional learning and stay current with best practices.
• Lead or contribute to problem-solving teams to analyze data and select interventions.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments to support Positive Behavioral Interventions.
• Coordinate resources within and outside the school system for preschoolers and families.
• Complete Medicaid record-keeping.
