Job summary

CDS Downeast in Machias is seeking a Preschool Speech Therapist to work itinerantly with preschoolers birth to 5. This 40-hour-per-week calendar year position requires local travel around Hancock and Washington Counties and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

As a licensed speech therapist, you will evaluate and provide services under IDEA, contribute to IFSP/IEP goals, and document therapy and billing in accordance with Maine regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate field of study.
• State licensure as a Speech Therapist in Maine or eligible.
• Experience with preschool population and multidisciplinary teams preferred.
• Ability to travel to a variety of locations to deliver services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide speech therapy services to children birth through age five under IFSP/IEP.
• Develop, implement and monitor goals and short-term objectives.
• Collaborate with CDS case managers, educators and families to support child development.
