Servingschools in Brewer, Maine is seeking an Itinerant Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist to join our CDS Two Rivers site. This 40-hour weekly, academic-year role serves the Bangor area, performing evaluations, direct services, and tele-therapy for 3–5 year olds, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Travel is required; current licensure, Criminal History Records Check and DHHS background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Maine Education Certification 293 is required for non-MaineCare billing.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Maine) required.
• Successful background, fingerprinting and reference checks.

Responsibilities

• Explain the therapist’s role within the Child Find process to parents.
• Elaborate intake information and elicit additional info from parents.
• Provide timely answers to parents’ questions.
• Explain assessment results to parents clearly.
• Contribute to IFSP/IEP goals and reports with accuracy.
• Collaborate with CDS case managers and other providers.
