Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an onsite short-term FMLA contract serving preschool students in Illinois from September through October. You will deliver direct therapy, conduct assessments, create IEPs, and document progress within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license and PEL ASHA certification required.
• Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply.
• Experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration with school teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy services to preschool-aged students in a school-based environment.
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Adapt intervention plans to meet individual student needs.
• Maintain timely records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
