Job summary

The Goddard School in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Resource / Floater Teacher to support classrooms and keep daily operations running smoothly. You will join a collaborative team to help provide a safe, engaging learning environment for children across age groups.

You will assist with activities, support teachers, and help maintain health and sanitation standards while following licensing requirements and school policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in a licensed early childhood facility.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
• Highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Follows state childcare licensing rules and regulations.
• Works well without supervision within policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. during programs and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Office and Staff with daily activities.
• Providing support in classrooms as needed.
• Cleaning/Sanitization.
• Kitchen duties as needed.
• Assisting with lunch and snack breaks.
• Establishing a safe, healthy, nurturing learning environment.
