Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools is seeking a part-time classroom assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Work 3.25 hours daily on Tuesdays and Thursdays to support students with academic and social needs, and to supervise Early Childhood activities.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; the district notes the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred with related education training.
• Ability to implement instructions in a developmentally appropriate way.
• Able to communicate with staff, students and parents; work independently or in a team.

• Assist student(s) with classroom needs, including academic and behavioral support.
