The Malvern School of Washington Township is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool/PreK classroom. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday at The Malvern School of Washington Township.

You will support implementing a high-quality Early Childhood Education program, keep the classroom safe and engaging, and maintain active parent communication through in-person and digital channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 college credits (or CDA) and 1,250 hours of experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What We Need From You

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
