Job summary

The Goddard School of Magnolia, TX is seeking a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool-aged children. You will deliver high-quality instruction, implement the school curriculum, promote kindergarten readiness, and support social-emotional development while maintaining a well-managed classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other ECE credential preferred.
• Previous experience with preschool/Pre-K children preferred.
• Must meet state childcare licensing requirements and background checks.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, patient, energetic, nurturing, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Implement the school's approved curriculum consistently and effectively.
• Prepare and organize daily lessons and learning activities.
• Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences appropriate for children's developmental levels.
• Provide learning opportunities in early literacy, letter recognition, early writing, math, science, social studies, art, music, and movement.
• Read to children daily and encourage conversation, vocabulary development, and a love of books.
• Differentiate activities to support various developmental abilities and learning styles.
• Maintain appropriate expectations while recognizing individual development differences.
