Job summary

Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center (Nwoesc) Montpelier Elementary School - Montpelier, Ohio is seeking a Paraprofessional – Preschool to support students in a preschool program. The role reports to an assigned administrator and operates on a Tue–Fri schedule from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm.

Applicants must hold a valid Educational Aide permit and a state license/permit, with demonstrated reliability, communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state department of education license/permit at time of appointment.
• Educational aide permit required.
• Demonstrates reliability, flexibility and strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with non-teaching support as part of the educational team.
• Prepares/distributes classroom materials and equipment; keeps areas orderly.
• Maintains and verifies classroom records and data as directed.
• Provides student assistance with daily living activities and instructional support.
• Supports inclusive education and implements classroom accommodations as directed.
