Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking a Support Staff/Classroom Paraprofessional for district-wide assignment in New Jersey.

The role involves assisting the classroom teacher, supporting students with disabilities, and providing instructional support in computer labs and libraries. A post-secondary credential and college credits are required, with a focus on reading, writing and mathematics readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required.
• Completion of two years of study (60 credits) required.
• Knowledge in reading, writing and mathematics instruction readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support students in individualized or small group settings as directed by certified staff.
• Prepare materials and resources as directed by staff.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with parents, students, peers and the employer.
• Follow Board of Education, Administrative Directors and State/Federal regulations applicable to the position.
• Assist students with disabilities with personal needs and mobility.
• Assist with bus loading/unloading when required.
• Provide instructional assistance in computer labs, libraries or media centers.
