Job summary

Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Paraeducator - Preschool to support early learners in a special education/general education setting. This 5.5-hour per day position is paired with a 3-hour Resource Para posting; candidates may apply to both postings.

Responsibilities include supervising students, providing one-on-one or small-group instruction, assisting with health and safety, behavior support, data collection, and following IEP guidelines under supervision of a certified teacher.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Title 1 schools only - ONE of the following: Associate's Degree, or 60 semester hours, or passing AZ parapro exam.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided by district.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during all program activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction.
• Assist with academic, physical, and emotional needs per IEP guidelines.
