Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and college credits or an associate degree.
• Praxis Parapro Assessment Test acceptable as alternative credential.
• One year of related paid work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with planning and implementing activities.
• Maintain records and manage classroom resources and materials.
• Monitor students in various settings and support safety and behavior.
• Communicate with teachers and parents regarding student progress.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and in-service events as required.
