Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher Assistant to join their educational team in Paarl, Western Cape. You will work under guidance of lead teachers, assist in curriculum implementation, supervise children, and support their daily needs in a caring, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with preschool or daycare settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in delivering daily lessons and activities to preschool children.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, and transitions, ensuring their safety.
• Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean and organised learning space.
• Support children with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Observe and document children's progress and report observations to the lead teacher.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and social interaction.
