Job summary

ISP International Schools Partnership Limited seeks a patient Preschool Teacher Assistant to support early learning in a safe, nurturing classroom. You will help implement daily activities, supervise children, and encourage positive social and cognitive development under the lead teacher's guidance.

Ideal candidates have a diploma or degree in early childhood education and previous experience with young children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor´s Degree Lic. Educación Preescolar or equivalent (required)
• TKT Training Course
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, learning activities, and educational games that align with the preschool curriculum.
• Monitor children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and promote positive behavior.
• Reinforce classroom rules and help guide children in developing appropriate social and emotional skills.
• Help set up and organize classroom materials, resources, and displays to support hands-on learning and creativity.
• Ensure classroom spaces are clean, organized, and free from hazards; assist with sanitizing toys, surfaces, and equipment.
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance to children who need extra help with activities or emotional support.
• Observe children's development and behavior; communicate concerns or notable progress to the lead teacher.
• Help children with daily routines such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time, fostering independence and consistency.
• Model respectful, inclusive, and cooperative behavior to promote a positive classroom culture.
• Work closely with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure consistency in teaching practices and child care.
