Job summary

YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids seeks a Lead Teacher for the Wobbler classroom at our Caledonia locations. This role focuses on planning, developing, and implementing engaging activities with weekday slots from early morning to late afternoon.

The position is non-exempt and part-time (up to 25 hours/week), with a compensation range of $17.09–$21.36 per hour and benefits including membership, retirement contributions, and paid sick time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; six months to one year childcare related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA required; YMCA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads daily lesson plans for Wobbler classroom.
• Organizes and participates in games and activities; maintains attendance records.
