Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to nurture young learners and support development in a warm, structured setting. Under the School Director’s guidance, you will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum and lead classroom operations.

You will partner with families, support children with diverse needs and IEPs, maintain safety, document incidents, and ensure compliance with licensing while representing Cadence Education professionally.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
• DHS licensing qualifications may apply; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child is treated with dignity.
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Lead classroom operations and ensure safety and supervision.
• Use Cadence programs and communicate with families and staff.
• Document incidents and follow licensing requirements.
