Sunrise Preschools is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will guide children through meaningful experiences fostering curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth in a warm, safe environment.

You will partner with families and work with a collaborative teaching team to deliver engaging early childhood education, with ongoing professional development and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass a background check
• Complete 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire
• Genuine care for children and safety commitment
• Strong communication and family relationship skills
• Physical ability to work with young children
• Early Childhood Education coursework or degree is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate preschool lessons and activities
• Keep classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratios
• Observe and document child development and share progress with families
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and conferences
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incidents, and assessments
