Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience in a licensed child care facility.
• NC Qualifying Letter preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction of preschool-aged children in activities promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Greet and engage with parents at drop-off and pick-up times.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and communicate daily activities to them.
• Create lesson plans and implement daily activities focused on language development, social skills, and gross motor coordination.
• Ensure classroom newsletters and bulletin boards are up-to-date and accurate.
• Adhere to licensing guidelines and ACWLC policies; supervise assistants and support staff.
