Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher to lead a classroom unit in partnership with the Teacher and Assistant Teacher. The Educare lead teacher will design and implement plans across academic, behavior, developmental, health and nutrition areas to maximize student outcomes and strengthen home–school connections.

Formación

• AA or higher in ECE required.
• Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with ECE endorsement.
• AA or higher in related field with 20 credits in ECE and 9 months preschool experience.
• 2 years of professional experience with children aged 0–5.
• Experience as a lead teacher in Head Start, Early Head Start or similar programs.
• Experience supervising early childhood classroom staff.
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a classroom unit and collaborate with Teacher and Assistant Teacher.
• Design and implement learning activities and document children’s outcomes.
• Engage families and support home–school connections.
• Develop Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with the team.
• Coordinate and manage classroom materials, routines and schedules.
• Provide active supervision and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support planning and delivery of nutrition, health, and developmental plans.
• Prepare reports documenting family and child activities per work plan.
