Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher in Buffalo, MN to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You will plan and deliver curriculum, lead classroom operations, and support children’s growth, including those with IEPs.

You’ll work under the School Director, collaborating with families and staff while following Cadence policies and safety procedures. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
• 6–12 months of early childhood/classroom experience preferred.
• CDA/ CCP/ EEC or NAC credential may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom where every child is treated with dignity and care.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families and communicate regularly.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom in line with safety manuals.
• Document and report incidents and escalated behaviors per policy.
• Follow Cadence policies and participate in trainings and meetings.
