Job summary

Cadence Education in Franklin, MA is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher. Under the School Director, you will plan and deliver curriculum, lead classroom operations, and support the development of all children, including those with IEPs.

You will create a warm, inclusive classroom, build strong relationships with families, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and participate in trainings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6-12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.

• Accurately document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Follow all Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development.
