The Learning Experience in Zephyrhills, FL is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher to launch our brand-new center. You will lead a preschool classroom, create a safe, engaging environment, and implement the LEAP curriculum to support young learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Meet Florida childcare licensing requirements.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Pass Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Preschool classroom.
• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
• Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Foster independence, creativity, and kindergarten readiness skills.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Observe and track developmental progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain licensing and safety standards compliance.
• Mentor Assistant Teachers and contribute to classroom success.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to meet Florida childcare licensing requirements
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Preferred

• 1+ year of experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning environment
• CDA Credential
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience as a Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, Daycare Teacher, Toddler Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, or Lead Teacher
