Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early education program at our Scotrun location. The Lead Preschool Teacher will create a nurturing environment, fostering social, emotional, and intellectual development in children, and making a lasting impact on their lives.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating an engaging, inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration
• Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
• Fostering a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe and valued
• Using diverse teaching methods and materials
• Planning activities like arts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play
• Assessing and documenting children's progress, maintaining records, and communicating with parents
• Collaborating with staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
• Communicating regularly with parents about their child's development
• Ensuring safety and adhering to health regulations

Qualifications:

• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Experience as a Preschool Teacher or similar role is preferred
• CD A or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; equivalent experience considered
