Responsibilities
- Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and supports exploration.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans promoting cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
- Use diverse teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles.
- Plan activities like arts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play for holistic development.
- Assess children’s progress, document observations, and communicate with parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and milestones.
- Ensure children's safety and well-being, following health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering preschool development.
- Experience as a Preschool Teacher or similar role is preferred.
- A CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in planning activities.
- Patience, empathy, and ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
