Miami Valley Child Development Centers is southwest Ohio's Head Start Agency. For over 55 years, we've been providing FREE early learning and childcare to children from 6 weeks to age 5. We focus on a two-generational approach that supports both children and their families by accessing resources, solving problems, and enhancing skills. We serve families earning 100% or less of the Federal Poverty Level, including children experiencing homelessness, foster or kinship care, and some children with disabilities. Our centers are located in Montgomery, Clark, and Madison counties.
Full-Time, Full-Year, Non-Exempt.
As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will support the planning and implementation of curriculum and daily activities suitable for young children. You will manage classroom behavior, monitor children's progress according to federal standards, and ensure compliance with regulations such as ODJFS, USDA, and health and sanitation guidelines.
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Compensation will be based on education and experience.
