Description

As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will:

  • Direct Service and Supervision: Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Adapt and prepare materials to meet individual needs within the curriculum framework.
  • Professional Development: Engage in personal growth, complete required training, and participate in professional committees.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, clean, and safe classroom environment.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health protocols and conduct activities like toileting and health checks.
  • Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all licensing and regulatory standards.
A Typical Day

Arrive on time, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, supervise staff, and maintain a safe environment. Build positive relationships with children and families, and participate in meetings and training.

What does this position offer?
  • Starting Salary: $37-40k annually

Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent + 2 years experience with children aged birth-5.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Training in SIDS, knowledge of Environmental Rating Scales, and compliance with regulations.
  • Must pass drug screening and background check.
