Job summary

The Goddard School of Beavercreek, OH is seeking teachers to join a supportive team committed to high-quality early childhood education. You will coordinate daily classroom operations, plan engaging activities, and interact with children and their families to deliver exceptional service in a safe environment.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or BA in ECE (or CDA) with 1+ year of experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and will pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field, or Child Development Associates preferred.
• At minimum 1 year of previous experience preferred.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Meets background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Promote from within and support classroom success with directors.

You will be a part of a supportive team! All teachers have full support from our directors, including planning time, to be successful in the classroom. We promise to maintain ratios and ensure you have the resources to make your classroom a success.

We recognize our teachers! All teachers are eligible for annual raises based on performance.

Salary range: $14-$18/hr

Hours of work: 38-40hrs/week. Potential for overtime. No nights and weekends!

Hiring Bonus: $250 on first paycheck and $250 at 90 day performance evaluation.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field, or Child Development Associates preferred

• Works productively without direct supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
