The Learning Experience in Andover, MA is seeking a Massachusetts EEC-qualified Preschool Lead Teacher. You will lead a dynamic classroom, guiding young learners toward readiness for kindergarten while collaborating with fellow educators and families.

Competenze

• Massachusetts EEC Preschool Lead Teacher qualification required.
• Experience in preschool or early childhood education classroom setting required.

The Learning Experience - Andover is hiring an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who loves helping children learn, build confidence, and prepare for kindergarten.

We're looking for a caring, creative educator who is ready to take ownership of their classroom, lead engaging learning experiences, and help children develop the independence, friendships, and foundational skills they need to thrive.

As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to guide your classroom, collaborate with fellow educators, and build meaningful relationships with children and families.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily classroom activities, routines, and learning experiences for preschool-aged children
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
• Support early literacy, math, science, language, and social-emotional development
• Create hands-on learning experiences through art, music, movement, and purposeful play
• Encourage kindergarten readiness, independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
• Maintain consistent classroom routines and use positive behavior guidance
• Observe developmental milestones and maintain required classroom documentation
• Guide, mentor, and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must currently meet Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Preschool Lead Teacher qualification requirements
• Previous professional preschool or early childhood education classroom experience required
• Previous Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of preschool development, kindergarten readiness, and developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Experience implementing curriculum and maintaining classroom documentation
• Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills
• Patient, dependable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education
• Must meet applicable background screening and regulatory requirements
