Job summary

Alliance Preschool in Alliance, Ohio is seeking a Teacher – Intervention Specialist to support student growth and success. The role is Regular/Full Time, ~185 days per year, with health benefits, reporting to Building Principal/Director of Special Education.

The candidate will implement district-approved curriculum, document progress, differentiate instruction, and communicate with students, parents and administration to support goals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Masters Degree in related area Preferred.
• Appropriate State of Ohio certifications/license in the appropriate grade level.
• Prior teaching experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students.
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and present clear explanations using varied instructional techniques.
• Develop and administers school curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Maintain records of student achievement and attendance as required by district procedures.
