Anoka-Hennepin Schools Preschool is seeking part-time Preschool Instructors to lead developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 3–5 across multiple sites. Positions run 175 days with schedule Mon–Thu 8h, Fri 4h, or 147 days Mon–Thu 8h, Sept–May.
You will plan lessons, assess progress, maintain records, and collaborate with teachers and high school students in related programs. A Bachelor's in Early Childhood or related field is required, with ability to lift 35 pounds and travel
Part Time positions: 175 days - Monday thru Thursday: 8 hours/day and Fridays: 4 hours/day - OR 147 days - Monday thru Thursday; 8 hours/day.
Available location and position types will be determined based on program needs.
Anoka‑Hennepin Schools Preschool is an early childhood program for children ages three to kindergarten. The program prepares children for kindergarten by providing planned learning experiences in a classroom setting with an emphasis on the emerging development of social and academic skills. Preschool Instructors are responsible for child learning and development in alignment with selected objectives. The Preschool program runs September thru May with classrooms located throughout the school district.
Preschool Instructors located at the high schools also provide a lab experience for the high school students in Child Development or Child‑Related Occupations courses: work with and direct high school students in planning activities for the preschool children as part of their courses. Provide assessment of the high school students’ work to the high school teacher for inclusion in the students’ overall course grade.
Rate of pay: $35.78/hour & up DOQ.
