Job summary

The Goddard School in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Early Preschool Lead Teacher to guide a classroom of 2- to 3-year-olds toward independence and kindergarten readiness through hands-on learning and positive guidance.

You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, support routines, and collaborate with a teaching team to create a nurturing learning environment that supports each child's growth.

Qualifications

About the Role:

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and engaging Early Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team! This role leads a classroom of children ages 2-3, focusing on building independence, confidence, and kindergarten readiness through hands‑on learning and positive guidance.

• Meets Minnesota Lead Teacher requirements or is willing to work toward qualification

Teacher Qualifications:

• AA or CDA with two years experience
• OR B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience
• OR A similar mix of education and experience

Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

• 12 post‑secondary credits in early childhood development or a related field
• Or B.S, in any field
• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks-6 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
