Queen Creek Unified District is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Preschool to support teachers and students in a classroom setting. This position runs 35 hours per week, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for 187 days per year, with a 9-month contract and district benefits.

The role requires a high school diploma, a strong attendance record, and the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Candidates must pass a background check and Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass a background clearance and obtain IVP fingerprint clearance.
• First Aid/CPR certification and good attendance are required.
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Support classroom teacher with instruction and IEP goals.
• Check class work, assist with grading, and supervise testing as needed.
• Help with lunch, recess, wash-up and toilet routines for students.
• Assist with student supervision throughout the school day.
