Qualifications

Job description

Humble Hearts Academy Preschool & Infant Center is looking for a passionate Teacher to join our incredible team.

We have both part-time and full-time positions open. Your hours would be anywhere between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:
  • Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess the developmental needs of students.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
  • Communicate positively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
  • Serve and monitor meals.
  • Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, and hand washing.
  • Supervise children during nap time.
  • Assist with any duties as needed by the program such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry.
WHAT’S REQUIRED:
  • Pass a background check.
  • Up to date on immunizations.
  • Negative TB test.
  • High School diploma required. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses.
  • Must be willing to change diapers and potty train.
  • Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
